The lights in the dining room have always been far too bright, so we decided the room needed to be painted. It took me three days, preceeded by some practice rounds on a chunk of sheetrock purchased for just this purpose, but the dining room has now been sponge painted. I used three shades of blue (the lightest is the base; the others are layered on top). Surprisingly, there was only a minor incident of blue pawprints on the floor which I quickly wiped away (after removing the paint from the fuzzy toes of the fuzzy black feline culprit).
So here is our dining room, fully painted (and also furnished. Mostly).
