They've started on the siding now, and in this picture, if you look directly above the left roof of the porch, you'll see the vent that juts out of the wall for the master bedroom fireplace - both fireplaces have been installed. Here you can see the plastic they put down underneath the siding, and some of the pipes for the kitchen sink (which will be directly underneath the garden window). While we were out taking pictures, we met the cat again (we'd seen him a few weeks ago while we were out at the house one night). He wandered the house with the air of one who already owns it, and occasionally let us pet him. Later on, after scrabbling a bit on the porch roof, he posed upstairs. I think he'll be quite disappointed when the siding is up and he doesn't have so many vantage points.
