We're hitting the fun stage now, apparently. From tiny little 2x4 inch rectangles, we had to pick a roofing color. As you can see, we choose a nice generic slate grey. They've also installed most of the windows (that's Jennifer's mom in the breakfast nook window there). There are piles of sheet rock inside, and piles of siding in the side yard; looks like the next two weeks are going to be quite busy. There are lots of little red lines all over the floor, marking out cabinets, fireplaces, etc., and every time we go out there now, another contractor comes at us with questions on placement of air conditioning vents, type of bathroom fans, whether we wanted our roof woven, or with valley metal (yep, our reaction was probably the same as yours. Huh?). On a side note, I tried to get a picture of the bay window in the master bedroom, just to show how the ceiling will look.
