These muffins tend to come out short and squatty and very dense, and they are extremely filling. They taste wonderful with apple jelly.

This is an old family favorite. It takes a little extra time, but it’s worth the effort.

Best served warm, when the chocolate chips are still soft.

Delicate muffins with a hint of nutmeg.

Gingerbread flavor, in a pancake. Delicious, hearty, and they freeze well for later.

Sticky, gooey, and delicious

I can’t speak for this bread personally, since I am not a fan of bananas in general, but Richard really likes it.

This bread is dense and spicy, with bits of sweet date mixed into every bite. Delicious toasted, or straight from the oven.

It just isn’t Thanksgiving or Christmas without this bread.

Dense, hearty waffles with a rustic texture (due to the cornmeal). These are perfect for fall, and taste just as good with a generous dollop of apple or pumpkin butter and whipped cream as they do drizzled with maple syrup.
